Faces behind the name

Event Lab is a boutique events and destination experiences company based in Dubrovnik, Croatia, led by sisters Angela and Ksenija Matić.

We design and deliver strategic events, institutional projects, corporate programmes, and private celebrations throughout Dubrovnik and the Adriatic, combining meticulous planning with a genuine sense of place.

Our approach is logistics-led and detail-driven, bringing together trusted local partnerships, exceptional hospitality, and seamless execution. Whether producing an international conference, an executive gathering, or an intimate celebration, we create experiences that feel effortless for our clients and memorable for their guests.

Rooted in Croatia, we collaborate with leading venues, chefs, wineries, cultural institutions, and hospitality partners to showcase the destination with authenticity and care.

Angela serves as Swedish Consul in Dubrovnik, while Ksenija is a CMS Certified Sommelier, WSET Level 3 professional, and international wine judge, bringing an additional layer of hospitality expertise to our projects.

MICE

HOSPITALITY & EXPERIENCE DESIGN

Our approach is informed by a deep understanding of guest experience, timing, and atmosphere. Co-founder Ksenija, a certified sommelier (CMS) with advanced wine education (WSET Level 3), brings a refined sensitivity to dining, hosting, and sensory detail. This perspective influences how we design executive dinners, private gatherings, and curated experiences.

In selected projects, we collaborate with respected chefs and culinary professionals to further shape the gastronomic dimension of our work, ensuring authenticity and a strong sense of place.
